As a reminder, please join us for an insightful and interactive online Mentorship Workshop, "The Role of Feedback in Your Academic Career," facilitated by Dr Beverley McNally, Mentorship Coordinator and supported by Meena Mohamed, a PhD student from the University of Otago. This session is designed to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to use feedback effectively and constructively in their academic and professional journeys. 

Who Should Attend:

Our Mentorship Workshops this year are designed for Postgraduate students residing in New Zealand, as the content is based on the NZ Tertiary platform. However, undergraduate students are also warmly welcome to attend and benefit from the session.

  • Introductions and Housekeeping: Presented by the GWNZ President, Sally Dunbar.
  • Facilitation Welcome and Topic Overview: Delivered by Dr Beverley McNally, GWNZ Mentorship Coordinator.
  • Staged Discussion: Discover the significance of feedback, master the art of giving and receiving it effectively, and gain practical strategies for adapting feedback to achieve successful outcomes.
