We are delighted to welcome Ebbe Anderson, Coordinator of Wellington Women’s House.
Wellington Women’s House is a non-religious, women-centred organisation providing temporary housing and vital support services for single women in need including those experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic violence, recovering from substance issues, or settling into a new city.
With 16 rooms and stays ranging from 3–6 months, the House not only provides affordable accommodation but also offers social work support, outreach services, workshops, and activities to help residents transition to independent living.
Ebbe has led the House for the past 2½ years, ensuring it runs safely and smoothly, securing funding, and coordinating in-house initiatives. It will be inspiring to hear more about this essential service for women in our community.
