Tēnā koutou katoa,
September has been an action-packed month for us. A true highlight was the GWI 35th Triennial General Assembly and Conference attended by our delegates Anna, Alyson, Shirley and Perya, who did a fabulous job representing us. Pictured in our header is Anna and Perya with a Zebra that was grazing right outside the conference front lawn. We also had a productive mentoring session with Dr Gayle Avery on sustainable leadership, starting with self. As a leadership scholar, I found Dr Avery's session to be both fruitful and thought-provoking. I also enjoyed our Independent Members' Network workshop on Pay Equity and women's relationship to money with Bex Howells.
This edition of the newsletter also includes:
- Convenor - International Relations Dr Shirley Gillet's and Advocacy Convenor Perya Short's reports from Zambia.
- Final updates before our AGM on Saturday 4 October
- A reminder of the many GWNZ scholarships available to support women across their educational journeys.
