International Women's Day @ GWO

On 6 March 2026 we joined with the University of Otago Staff Women’s Caucus to celebrate International Women’s Day.   The speaker, Jackie Bannon, shared with us her journey to Dunedin and how she and her partner set up The Bowing Club community eatery and the challenges past and present, in this social enterprise which serves the Dunedin community.  She outlined her values and how those are applied to their decision-making in running this business.
