CSW68 Update: Strong NZ Presence

In the image above, GW delegates were captured, among them Dr. Shirley Gillett, GWI VP Education (GWO), Patrice Wellesley-Cole, President of GWI. Representing GWO were Ioanna Katiforis, Otila Osborne accompanied by her daughter Phoebe Rose Osborne, along with Mira Karunanidhi from GWW, and Gretta Mills from GWM.

I wish to acknowledge the Graduate Women branches who generously provided financial assistance to their members who served as delegates at the meeting in New York. This support was instrumental in enabling them to participate in the event.

The event, held in New York, was a testament to the collective efforts of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from around the globe. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the GWNZ delegates and all participating NGOs for their invaluable work in advancing the rights and well-being of women and girls.
 
Among the organisations represented from NZ were the NZ Ministry of Women, Maori Women's Welfare League, P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A, YWCA Aotearoa, BPW New Zealand, Pacific Women's Watch - New Zealand, Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge in Porirua, Ministry for Pacific Peoples, and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
