Ōtākou | Graduate Women Otago President appointed GWNZ President

Graduate Women Otago (GWO) President 2024-2025 Otila Osborne has been appointed National President of Graduate Women New Zealand.

Graduate Women Otago (GWO) are thrilled to announce that our Otago President has been appointed as the new National President of Graduate Women New Zealand. Otila Osborne has been with our GWO branch since 2023, taking on the role of President in 2024 - 2025. In that time she has been pivotal in the rebranding of Graduate Women Otago including the design of our new website www.gwotago.co.nz which was launched just prior to the Graduate Women NZ AGM in October 2025.

The new website is user friendly with payment functionality that will help streamline the membership process.

The past twelve months have been exciting with the hosting of a very successful International Women's Day breakfast attended by 90+ women and female students across the Otago region. Our GWO social media presence has grown, along with significant increases in our membership and the establishment of strong relationships with Otago University and community organisations.

GWO will host our annual AGM at 7.30pm on Thursday 23rd of October in person and via Zoom. Check out our new website www.gwotago.co.nz for attendance details. Our new GWO President and the Committee will be voted in at the AGM.

GWO looks forward to another exciting year ahead with a new GWO President and Committee, and working closely with National President and the new National Executive.
