Eliza Raymond is conducting her PhD in Tourism Management at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. Her research will explore how travel during childhood influences children’s sense of global citizenship. She hopes that her research findings will support tour operators, parents and educators in raising the next generation of global citizens who respect and value diversity. Eliza is also the co-founder and director of operations for GOOD Travel, a social enterprise working globally to transform the tourism industry into a force for GOOD. She serves as senior advisor to RISE Travel Institute and teaches entrepreneurship, innovation and social change at the University for Peace established by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
