Auckland University Women in Law Co-Presidents, Lauren and Huma, believe that Women in Law is an essential part of the law school body, carrying out important advocacy work needed within the male-dominated legal profession.
They believe that providing this safe, inclusive space at law school could inspire the next Chief Justice Winkelmann or the next Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Lauren and Huma will speak at the July meeting of Graduate Women North Shore.
