Purpose
To help second year female students who have financial needs.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be female.
Applicants must be currently studying full time at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Applicants must be experiencing financial hardship
Selection criteria
Applicants must be female second year students who are experiencing financial hardship.
Selection will be made by the Scholarships Committee of Graduate Women Wellington (or nominated subcommittee).
Award History
These Scholarships were established in 1999 by Graduate Women Wellington.
The scholarship is open to female students (applicants must identify as female, including cis-gendered and trans-gendered) entering their second year of undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, who are facing continuing financial hardship. The value of the scholarship is $3,000 which can be paid towards tuition fees or as a stipend.
